About Me

Hi, I’m Sushant Babu Luitel — a Software Engineer from Nepal, driven by curiosity about how products are built, scaled, and experienced.

I started my journey at HamroPatro as a software engineer, working on systems serving millions of users. That experience shaped how I think about reliability, performance, and the realities of production systems. I later joined Renegade, where I continued as a software engineer while moving closer to product—building and iterating quickly, and learning to see software as something continuously shaped by user feedback.

Over time, I became drawn to building from zero to one.

Today, I’m co-founder and CPO of Astergaze Technologies, where I still actively work as a software engineer. I lead product strategy, architecture, and execution while staying hands-on with building systems. My focus is on designing scalable architectures, making thoughtful trade-offs, and creating tight feedback loops between users and product decisions.

Recently, I’ve been exploring ClickHouse and data modeling approaches like the Party Role Model, with a growing interest in real-time, data-intensive systems.

I’m driven by a simple idea: great products come from deeply understanding both systems and the people who use them.
